Graco Releases New, Helpful Video About Risks in Operating Two Sprayfoam Guns

Graco Inc., the leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, recently released an educational, new video, entitled Risks in Operating Two Guns With One Sprayfoam System.”

In summary, the video points out that while spray foam contractors are always trying to  improve productivity, some operators unwisely use two guns on their proportioners thinking it will double their output. However, Graco states that this approach is not necessarily a smart idea.

Why? Graco cites several reasons, including how both performance and quality of the spray foam can ultimately be affected, leading to a noticeable difference by the customer.

At Intech, we also believe one gun is better. With this smart approach, contractors can depend on consistent, quality spray foam results each and every time.

Unfortunately, with two guns, there are simply too many risks involved, especially because a contractor can lose control of the process. We believe the downside risks far outweigh the short term monetary savings of buying only one proportioning pump. And for these reasons, we highly advise busy contractors to not run two guns off of a single proportioner.
