Should You Buy a PMC Foam Gun?
By Kevin MalonePolyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC) has been a leading manufacturer of spray foam equipment for over 50 years. With a reputation for innovative spray foam solutions and durable, reliable equipment, PMC is a favorite for many contractors.
Why Contractors Choose PMC Spray Foam Guns
So, why do so many contractors opt for a PMC foam gun? Here are just a few of the reasons.
Superior Performance
PMC spray foam guns deliver superior performance through advanced technology that allows for precise control over material flow and mixing ratios. This results in high-quality, consistent spray foam application.
High Durability for Tough Jobs
With robust construction utilizing quality components, PMC spray foam guns are known for their durability and reliability, allowing them to withstand the rigors of daily use and minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Ergonomic Grips
Operator fatigue can cause quality and safety issues on the job, especially for a big job. So, you need spray gun grips that are comfortable, with their weight balanced properly. PMC spray foam guns are designed for user comfort and efficiency, featuring ergonomic handles and lightweight builds.
Flexibility
Offering compatibility with a wide range of spray foam formulations, PMC spray foam guns provide versatility for diverse applications. They deliver consistent performance using open-cell foam, closed-cell foam, or specialty mixes.
Modular Design
The modular designs and replaceable parts of PMC foam guns simplify maintenance, cleaning, repair, and replacement procedures. This is especially important in the field when you cannot afford downtime.
PMC does not use complex printed circuit boards, opting for electro-mechanical switches and relays. These are much easier to troubleshoot and fix if problems arise.
Technical Support
Because PMC has been building high-quality spray foam products for more than five decades, the company has built up a comprehensive knowledge base for technical support. The experts at Intech Equipment & Supply are fully trained in PMC foam guns and PMC spray foam gun parts. PMC Foam Gun Types
When you are considering PMC spray foam guns, there are three options. Which one is right for you will depend on the type of jobs you do and the type of spray guns you prefer. The experts at Intech Equipment & Supply can help you find the best one for you.
- PMC AP-2 Spray Foam Gun: The AP-2 is a lightweight spray foam gun, weighing just 2.9 pounds with the coupling block. Do not let the light weight fool you, though. This PMC foam gun can output 40 pounds per minute at 3,500 psi max working pressure and 125 psi air pressure.
- PMC Xtreme Spray Foam Gun: PMC combined the most useful components from the AP-2 and AP-3 to create the Xtreme spray gun. Offering superior reliability and an improved spool and liner, it features fewer parts for less downtime. It weighs a comfortable 3.1 pounds and can output 50 pounds per minute.
- PMC PX-7 Spray Foam Gun: The PX-7 is a mechanical purge spray gun weighing about 5 pounds with the coupling block and can spray up to 50 pounds per minute.
The PMC AP-3 spray foam gun is no longer available from the manufacturer.
