Carbon Monoxide Monitors and Alarms
When operating a compressed breathing air source on the job site it is always necessary to monitor the levels of Carbon Monoxide that are present. Easily monitor and meet the OSHA approved limits with the mobile Bullard Carbon Monoxide Detector line of alarms and monitors. With two available models, you can keep your crews safety the top priority, even if they aren’t working right next to the source of air.
The Continuous Monitor for Carbon Monoxide comes in a durable and compact unit making it easy to connect to any compressed air breathing source. (The connection kit is included with the unit.) The monitor is set by the factory with a 93db alarm that goes off when Carbon Monoxide levels exceed 10 parts per million (ppm) which is the OSHA approved limit. Bullard also offers a 5 ppm monitor that can be used to meet some international requirements or to meet CSA standards, so please take care when ordering to select the one that is needed for your specific application.
The Continuous monitor operates with an external light that is either displaying red or green. Green indicates that Carbon Monoxide levels are normal or below OSHA standards, and red alerts the user that levels are above those recommended for safe operation. The included alarm jack allows for connection to standard remote devices. A 9 volt battery operates this portable Carbon Monoxide Detector, and a back up battery supply power capability is also standard on all of the units.
The second type of unit, the Bullard Audible/Visual Remote Alarm is a line of units that are designed for the Bullard Clean Air Box. These Carbon Monoxide alarms will duplicate the alarm on the Clean Air Box and signal to a worker in a remote location that there is a problem. This is a valuable early warning device for isolated workers notifying them of impending danger and allowing ample time to remove themselves and address the situation.
Determine which Carbon Monoxide detector is best for your crews, and ensure that breathing air is safe and meets all OSHA regulations. Order online today or contact the Intech Equipment and Supply team for additional information and product assistance.
