EDP16TE Free-Air Pump

When Bullard introduced the Free-Air pump line, initial speculation was met with outstanding feedback and our industry now has a proven alternative to supplying air for an airline respirator wearer. Traditionally, a compressed air source was used with limits to set up, user accommodation, and expensive OSHA regulated safety concerns that resulted from the nature of the operation. With the EDP16TE (60HZ, 220V) Free-Air Pump, operation is oil free and set up is a breeze. OSHA CO monitoring is eliminated, and multiple users can work off of the one air pump. Set up is simple and doesn’t require any calibration or bolting the pump down. The versatility and the price point make this a great solution for any budget.

The 60HZ, 220 volt EDP16TE Free-Air Pump is made in the US and designed with the contractor in mind. Set up is fast, and transporting the pump between jobsites is easy at a weight of just 100 pounds. The unit comes with easy carry handles or can be purchased with affixed wheels (EDP16TE w/ Wheels) for extra simple transport. The 7 foot cord allows for a power source to be simple, and the pump is compatible with all manufacturer respirator styles, as long as the pump output is sufficient.

The EDP16TE can supply air for two workers in a hood style respirator or supply air for up to three in either a full or half mask. The .5 inch quick disconnect couplers are Hansen compatible, and all routine maintenance and replacement parts can be easily obtained from Bullard. The TEFC (Totally enclosed, fan cooled motor) has a capacitor start and 1.5 horsepower with a single phase motor. Users can travel as far as three hundred feet from the pump location during use.
